The Association of Nurse Anesthetists shared their positive experience attending the garden of prayer youth center parent mentor group meeting. They commended the active parent mentors for their valuable service to students and encouraged them to continue their great work.

In another event, the Beecher Fire Protection District commemorated the 25th anniversary of the 1999 Bourbonnais Amtrak train derailment. They attended a ceremony honoring the 11 lives lost in the tragic event. The district also extended thanks to the entire community and first responders who tirelessly worked at the scene and in the aftermath of the incident.
